Privacy Policy

AlphaRPM ("we", "us") provides property-management software for landlords and their tenants. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: support@alpharpm.com.

Information we collect

Account information — name and email used to sign in.
Property and tenancy data — entered by landlords: properties, units, leases, tenants, contacts, maintenance requests, documents, and accounting/ledger records.
Payment information — when you pay or receive rent, bank-account details are collected and processed by our payment partners (see below). AlphaRPM does not store full bank-account or card numbers; we keep limited references such as the bank name, the last four digits, and a payment status.
Technical data — basic logs (e.g., IP address, timestamps) needed to operate and secure the service.

How we use information

To provide and operate the service (managing properties, leases, maintenance, accounting, and rent payments).
To process rent payments and reconcile bank transactions.
To secure the service, prevent abuse, and meet legal obligations.
To communicate with you about your account (e.g., sign-in links, password resets, support).

Service providers we share data with

We use trusted providers strictly to operate the service. They process data on our behalf under their own terms and privacy policies:

Stripe — payment processing and payouts. See Stripe's Privacy Policy.
Plaid — secure connection of bank accounts for transaction reconciliation. See Plaid's End User Privacy Policy.
Supabase — database and authentication hosting.
Render — application hosting.
Google Workspace — email delivery for account notifications.

We do not sell your personal information.

Bank connections (Plaid)

If you connect a bank account, you authorize Plaid to access account and transaction information on your behalf so we can import and reconcile transactions. You can disconnect a linked bank at any time; contact us to revoke access.

Data retention

We retain account and property/financial records for as long as your account is active and as needed to provide the service and meet legal, tax, and accounting requirements. You may request deletion of your data by emailing us; some records may be retained where required by law.

Security

We use encryption in transit (HTTPS) and at rest, access controls, and row-level data isolation so each landlord's data is separated. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we work to protect your information.

Your choices

You can access, correct, or request deletion of your information, and ask questions about how it is used, by contacting support@alpharpm.com.

Children

AlphaRPM is not directed to children under 18 and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We may update this policy and will revise the "last updated" date above. Material changes will be communicated where appropriate.
