SMS Terms & Opt-In

AlphaRPM is a property-management platform used by landlords and property managers to communicate with their tenants. This page describes our SMS (text message) program, how tenants opt in, and how to opt out.

Program description

Through AlphaRPM, your property manager sends you account-related text messages such as rent-payment confirmations, rent reminders, maintenance and work-order updates (for example, when a technician is on the way), and notices that a new document or payment method is available in your tenant portal. These are transactional, account notifications — not marketing.

How tenants opt in

Consent is collected via a web form. When you provide your mobile number during tenant-portal onboarding (or on your rental application) at alpharpm.com, you may check a box agreeing to receive these text notifications from your property manager. The opt-in is optional and is not a condition of renting or applying. The consent box presents the following language:

Your consent is recorded with a timestamp. You can also be opted in verbally or in writing at lease signing; the same terms apply.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on your account activity (for example, when a payment is received or a maintenance request changes status). You will only receive messages related to your tenancy.

Sample messages

AlphaRPM: Your rent payment of $1,200 was received and processed. Thank you! Reply STOP to opt out, HELP for help.

AlphaRPM: Your maintenance request #4821 is now In Progress — a technician is scheduled to arrive today between 1–3pm. Reply STOP to opt out.

AlphaRPM: A new document is available in your tenant portal. Sign in at alpharpm.com/portal to view it. Reply STOP to opt out.

Cost

AlphaRPM does not charge you for text messages. Message and data rates may apply depending on your mobile carrier and plan.

How to opt out (STOP)

You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message. After you reply STOP, we will send a one-time confirmation that you have been unsubscribed, and you will receive no further texts unless you opt in again.

Help (HELP)

For help, reply HELP to any message, contact your property manager, or email support@alpharpm.com. You can also manage your preferences by signing in to your account at alpharpm.com/portal.

Privacy

We do not sell or share your mobile number or consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Mobile information is used only to deliver the messages described above. See our Privacy Policy for details.
